Kid Sport seeks members for Board of Prince Rupert chapter

The Prince Rupert chapter of a province-wide program designed to ensure that no child is left out of recreation opportunities on the North Coast is looking for some interested residents to join in with them as members of the Board.

The Kid Sport Prince Rupert Chapter is looking for members to help move the program ahead in the community, joining partners from the City of Prince Rupert and Prince Rupert Port Authority to continue to build the chapter in the community.

The focus for the program is as follows:

We are passionate about the benefits of recreation and believe sport abilities are foundational life skills. Teamwork, confidence, and leadership opportunities develop through play and help shape our leaders of tomorrow.
