Court House Lights set the tone for Holiday period in Prince Rupert

The annual display of Christmas Lights was turned on as part of Saturday's Winterfest celebrations, the colour display lighting up the Court House Lawn at the foot of Second West and McBride.

The lights are an annual tradition in Prince Rupert and the preliminary checks prior to Saturday's lighting saw CityWest employees and Special Events officials making sure that everything was ready for the flipping of the switch.

The Light show remains in place over the holidays, so you have a few weeks ahead to take a break from the hustle and bustle of you holiday shopping take a walk through the festive display.
