The final weekend for the summer of 2023 will conclude on Monday with a party in the park as local politicians, members of Prince Rupert's labour unions and community members offer up the invite to the community to the event at Mariner's Park overlooking Prince Rupert Harbour.
The days festivities which will take place from 1-4 PM, will feature a Free BBQ, Bouncy Castles, prizes and more.
The opening remarks and welcome to the event are set for 1:30 PM
Among those participating in the Labour Day at the Park is North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice who has been promoting the event through her social media stream.
