Lax Kw'alaams postpones planned Open House on Health, event to be rescheduled

Plans to host an Open House tonight at the Reginald Sampson Gymnasium in Lax Kw'alaams have been put on hold, with tonight's gathering postponed until a future date.

The evening was one that was set to feature a presentation on what officials have learned from discussion with the First Nations Health Authority, provide an overview of current health services available and to hear from the community on the path to take moving forward.

All themes that will return when the reschedule event takes place.

While residents await the new date, they can catch up on some Health related news from the Health Committee, which recently provided an update as part of a recent newsletter for the community.
