Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Achievement with Saturday's Gala

The voters have spoken and with a Gala celebration on Saturday night, the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce presented twelve Awards of Excellence and one Newsmaker of the year award for the year just passed.

The 2013  edition of the Business Excellence Awards were awarded at this years Presentation Dinner. A high point of the Chamber of Commerce year held at the North Coast Convention Centre.

The evening's celebrations brought to an end the three months of nominations and voting that took place since the New Year started.

Nominations were received until the end of January and through much of February, Prince Rupert residents had the opportunity to vote online, casting their ballots from a list of nominees in thirteen categories.

You can review the list of the nominated businesses and organizations for 2013 here.
