Boil Water Advisory lifted for Westview residents

After a full week of having to turn up the heat on the stove to boil their water, Westview residents have been given the all clear by the City of Prince Rupert.

The City lifted it's Boil Water Advisory on Monday afternoon with the reassuring note that "The City of Prince Rupert in conjunction with Northern Health have established that the water is safe to consume".

The lifting of the requirement to boil water came after City works crews conducted what was described as "elevated flushing" of the water lines on the west side of the city.
