School District Band Program looking for Band Instrument Donations

With school now back into full swing, the sounds coming out of the Peter Witherly Community Music Studio will soon start to come together.

The School District 52 Band Program is one of the more popular offerings at all levels, with many of the students finding a life long love of music from their early introduction to Band.

As they have in the past, the School District is looking for help from Prince Rupert and area residents, who may have a band instrument squirrelled away in a closet, crawl space, basement or attic.

Should you have something that hasn't had a note played for a few years now, you can donate it to the Band Program.

Not only providing a new life to the instrument, but perhaps offering up the spark for a lengthy musical career for a young student.

For more information on how you can help out contact the School District Office at 250-627-6717 to arrange for a pick up.
