The popular Novel Ideas Fundraiser is fast approaching with the Friends of the Library hosting the event Friday at the Lester Centre |
It's an event that has become one of the most popular fundraisers for the Prince Rupert Library, with Friday night bringing about the 13th annual arrival of the Novel Idea Auction as Prince Ruperts artists, crafters, bakers and many more deliver their goods in aid of the cause.
Hosted by the Friends of the Library, Friday's fundraiser hopes to build on the successful foundation of years past when Prince Rupert's library supporters made for a fun night of raising money.
The Library has put up a photo gallery to showcase some of the items that will be up for bid on the night with some of Prince Rupert's many talents on display.
With more donations coming in by the day, that display is destined to grow and if you have something to contribute to the fundraising effort, the Library will gladly accept your work.

Going once, going twice, gone ... the auctioneers will take to the microphone Friday night at the Lester Centre for Novel Ideas |
As for November 8th, the Doors open to the Lester Centre at 6:30 PM, allowing the audience to view the items that will be up for bid, the auction gets underway at 7PM.
Guiding the night along will be guest auctioneers Doug Kydd and Michael Gurney, which should guarantee some entertaining rapport as the bids come in and the goods go out!
