Smithers RCMP look for dash cam video as part of an investigation

If you were travelling through the Smithers/Telkwa area on Halloween evening, the Smithers RCMP would like to see your dash cam footage, seeking some images fro the area near Cocks Road in Telkwa which was the scene of fatal motor vehicle collision on October 31st.

If you were in the area at approximately 6:30 PM your footage could be of some help, as well the Smithers detachment has asked that if you witnessed the crash and have not spoken to an investigator  to contact them at 250-847-3233.

In the incident, a 76 year old driver and the lone occupant of the commercial vehicle was found by Mounties to be deceased upon their arrival.

The investigation in to the motor vehicle fatality is focused
on an area just south of Telkwa near Cocks Road
