Follow the Federal funding trail to Prince Rupert by way of a Map

An online map from Infrastructure Canada offers a chance for
North Coast residents to track recent funding announcements from
the Federal Government in the area

The last few years have seen a range of Federal funding projects arriving on the North Coast, some of which are in place now, others either in the construction phase, or still in development.

There's an easy way to help keep score if you will on the distribution of Federal money to Prince Rupert, with the simple click or two on a mouse, or touch on a screen you can explore where the money has gone and await the next big announcement to come.

That comes with a helpful online tool from Infrastructure Canada, that allows you to follow the money to a fashion towards many projects large and small in the community.

Each entry also has further information under the Actions listings, one which locates the project for you; the other with some notes on the funding level, start dates and other details as shown below for two significant projects in Prince Rupert.

To date there are eighteen federally funded projects of note for review in the Prince Rupert listings.

You can explore the Federal Funding Map here, from it access is available to the data base and a range of options for the different areas of funding available.

For some of the funding directed to the City of Prince Rupert see our Infrastructure and Major Projects archive here.

Similar funding for Port related projects can be reviewed from our Prince Rupert Port Authority Archive page.
