Jim Ciccone Civic Centre the place for COVID-19 vaccinations as Phase Two program set to launch. Appointment taking starts Monday; vaccinations at end of month


Tomorrow's the day for those in the first target group in the next phase of British Columbia's vaccination program. 

That as Northern Health's appointment process of Phase Two vaccinations prepares to open at 7 AM, Monday morning.

Northern Health released the details towards how the appointment process works and where residents of Prince Rupert will go to get their jab of COVID- 19 vaccine, with the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre destined to be the city's most popular location by the end of March.

Appointments can be booked at 1-844-255-7555 following the guidelines listed below:



The Prince Rupert Clinics for the groups listed above are scheduled tol run March 29, 2021 to April 2, 2021 at varying times at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre. 

You can expect your appointment duration to be approximately 10 minutes, with an additional 15 minute wait time before leaving the venue. 

Others to be vaccinated during the Phase 2 period include:

Hospital staff, community GPs and medical specialists not yet immunized 

Vulnerable populations in select congregated settings 

Staff in community home support and nursing for seniors
