CityWest outlines the scope of Tuesday service outage across Northwest

With Internet and communication services restored and the larger core of their customers now able to read their updates, CityWest posted an outline to the events of Tuesday that took Northwest residents to the days before the Internet.

Their notice posted this morning to the CityWest Facebook page, notes of the shared infrastructure across parts of the northwest and also offered up a reminder of their ongoing work on the Connected Coast project which will offer some redundancy for the Northwest with two entry points for service once it is completed.

Most of those taking the time to offer a comment to CityWest seemed to take the outage as one of those things that can happen from time to time, some even noting of the opportunity to log off from their wired commitments for the day.

As for the Connected Coast project, you can access more notes on that from our archive page here.

Further notes on Communications in the Northwest can be explored here.
