There was anther moderate earthquake recorded off of the West Coast of Vancouver Island, south of the tip of Haida Gwaii on Saturday evening at 6.08 PM
The 4.6 magnitude temblor was listed by the USGS at a depth of 10 Kilometres, the closest community noted from the epicentre was Port Hardy on Vancouver Island located 157 kilometres away.
The Earthquakes Canada notice which listed event as only 4.1 mg, advised that no reports of damage were received and none were anticipated.
The seismic event took place in an area South of Queen Charlotte Sound that has been quite active in recent months for similar sized earthquakes.
