Charles Hays Rainmakers travels of February continue into March, with Senior Boys next up for tournament competition

A very successful February was just celebrated by students and staff at the City's Secondary School with the  teams of the Charles Hays Rainmakers finding success in Zones and travels to provincial championships.

The Junior Boys Basketball team just wrapped up a week of play in Langley as the Northwest Zone rep for the Junior Boy's invitational provincials.

The competition of tournament week for the Junior Boys noted on the CHSS Social media stream.

February was also a big month for the School's Wrestling team which represented Prince Rupert well at the Provincial championships from February 22-24 in Vancouver.

More on that event and a look at the results is available here

As well as through the CHSS Social media stream.

Up next to carry the Charles Hays Colours is the Senior Boys Basketball team which will be charting their travels to Langley next week from March 6-9.

The return of the Rainmakers to tournament time noted this week by the British Columbia journal on athletics Varsity Letters, which has the team bubbling under the top ten heading into the tournament.

The Senior Boys will learn of their path to a potential championship banner on Sunday when the 2A Tournament Draw show streams live starting at 3:30 PM.

You can watch the live stream of the draw and follow the tournament from the 2 A Website here
