Festival season opens this weekend, as Civic Centre hosts 31st Annual Children's Festival

Prince Rupert youngsters are just hours away from a fun filled
Children's Festival on Saturday

The Jim Ciccone Civic Centre will be the happening place on Saturday, with the children  of the North Coast, their parents and guardians all set to take in the large volume of activities as apart of the 31st Annual Children's Fest

The doors to this year's event Open at 11 AM and the fun for what could be more than 1,000 youngsters  continues through to 4 PM


Among some of the activities to keep young ones engaged are Games, Crafts, Face Painting the always Popular Bouncy Castle and Food to fuel the mayhem of the day. 

Also on the Agenda the return of LazerFish Tag, a popular event from previous editions of the Festival

Participants can explore the City's Climbing Wall and the Earl Mah Aquatic Centre will host a Free Swim from 6-8 PM to put the warp on the event.

Admission to the Saturday events is by Donation
