Hockey Academy info sessions for Prince Rupert set for January 22nd

Students, Parents and Guardians that might have an interest in Hockey Academy program at Prince Rupert's Middle and Secondary school will want to keep Tuesday, January 22nd open, with two evening information sessions marked on the calendar to outline what the program is all about.

The popular school program which has been underway in the community for a number of years now is offered within the school timetable and is designed so as not to interfere with minor hockey or
schools sports.

Hosted by Pacific Rim Hockey, students receive instruction from professional and certified instructors with their work as part of the Hockey Academy program counting towards academic credit with SD52.

The next intake of the program comes in September and will feature instruction in power skating, puck and tactical skill development, Off ice conditioning, Special Events and Classroom sessions.
