Highway 16 will be closed in both directions until at least 3:30 PM (Latest reopening time listed at 4:30 PM) as the RCMP conduct a vehicle recovery operation at the Galloway Rapids Bridge.
The closure announcement was relayed through the Drive BC Website.
Galloway Rapids is the area of Highway 16 where an extensive search has been taking place for Adam Moore, the missing Prince Rupert man.
Parts of his vehicle were found in the area three days ago and since that time, the search has continued to locate his vehicle.
