Two meetings have been scheduled for this Wednesday by the Metlakatla First Nation, as the Metlakatla Treaty Office prepares to provide an update on treaty negotiations and gain further information on the importance of Metlakatla's shared reserves.
The first session of the day takes place from 9:30 to Noon at the multi purpose room of the MDC at Metlakatla, with a lunch to be provided for those in attendance.
Metlakatla officials cross the harbour for the evening session, with the Highliner Inn's Lax Kw'alaams Room the venue for that update which takes place from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, a dinner was scheduled to be provided for that event as well.
The two sessions are limited to those who are members of the Metlakatla First Nation.
