If your New Year's resolutions included the desire to get back into shape, NWCC has something for students and staff members of the Prince Rupert campus, with the college's Nordic Walking group offering a three month training program for interested participants.
The group meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday over the lunch hour and head outdoors to take part in the low impact exercise program, with members frequently seen along the city's pathways with their Nordic poles in hand for the 10 K training program.
Should you be interested contact Kaarlene Lindsay at the Prince Rupert campus at 250-624-6054 extension 5722
The program starts January 15th and continues through until April 21, it is open to all registered students at NWCC, as well as for staff and faculty members.
The Deadline for registration is at the end of the day today.
