Range of Fee increases proposed for Port of Prince Rupert facilities in 2019
The use of the many facilities of the Port of Prince Rupert will see an increase for 2019, with the Port posting a notice of proposed tariff increases for the year ahead.
The potential increase is for 2.5 per cent and includes:
Harbour Dues
Wharfage Dues ( applied to all cargoes not otherwise specified, slack wax and container wharfage fees)
Lighterage Fees (applied to project cargo, logs and all cargoes not otherwise specified)
Berthage Fees (increases apply for both working and non-working period)
Dockage Fees
Services and Facilities Fees (an increase to Northland Port Calls and security fees, no increase to line handling fees)
Water Service Fees
Ridley Island Project Cargo Fees (an increase for loading and unloading fees)
The proposed tariff revisions will come into effect on January 1st of 2019.
