Prince Rupert RCMP seek assistance in locating man who escaped from lawful custody on Thursday

Prince Rupert RCMP are 
seeking the whereabouts of
David Wagner who escaped
custody on Thursday
Members of the Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP have called on the public for assistance as they continue to look for a male who escaped custody on Thursday, September 3rd.

Mounties are currently seeking the whereabouts of David Wagner, a 45 year old caucasian male who is five foot seven inches, weighs 176 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen near the Prince Rupert Hospital on Summit Avenue when he disappeared into surrounding bush in the area. Despite a search using significant resources he has not as of yet been located.

At the time of his escape he was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue long sleeved shirt, dark shoes and a dark blue baseball cap.

Prince Rupert RCMP advise that if located,  you should contact the RCMP or the police of jurisdiction in your area. 

They add that you should not confront Mr. Wagner.
