With the BC Liberal leadership campaign moving forward towards its rendezvous with a decision day in February, one candidate is speaking out in favour of another, albeit a still unofficial one, with Skeena MLA Ellis Ross calling on the BC Liberal Leadership to approve the application of Aaron Gunn.
The suddenly controversial candidate has yet to see his application for participation in the Leadership quest accepted by Party officials
Mr. Ross outlined his thoughts on the topic in a letter, which he posted to his social media stream on Thursday.
The Skeena MLA noting of the need to welcome ideas from across the political spectrum and that a wide variety of candidates be welcomed into the leadership race.

The would be candidacy of Mr. Gun has come under fire by some in the BC Liberal party with a number observing how some of the candidates views are intolerant.
The lead in the opposition seemingly coming from fellow candidate Michael Lee.
The call for his exclusion from the leadership contest is one which has seen some push back from Mr. Gunn.
The candidate's profile and the attention the came with it started to percolate following the release of his leadership campaign platform.
