The Northwest will see a visit from a cabinet minister today, with Advanced Education and Skills Training Minister Anne Kang set to be in the House in Terrace this morning, on campus to celebrate the new Student building that was recently completed.

The event one which will be live streamed by Coast Mountain College starts at the noon hour.

Since it seems like a long way to travel to cut a ribbon, or open a new feature for students on the campus; it's likely that some kind of provincial announcement on advanced education will be relayed today while the Minster is in the Terrace area.

And indeed, in the information notes related to the live stream of today, Coast Mountain College and the Province offer up a hint towards what any announcement may reveal.

Anne Kang, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Training and Laurie Waye, Interim President, Coast Mountain College will make an announcement that will benefit students and the surrounding region.

Those Students and the staff of the college, along with residents of the Northwest will learn more sometime before the noon hour has come to an end.

More notes of interest from Coast Mountain College can be reviewed here.
