Prince Rupert RCMP seek assistance of public on Missing Person case file

The Prince Rupert RCMP have issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating a missing 21 year old male, with the local members the detachment seeking the whereabouts of Michael Kitchener,  seen on Thursday originally along Third Avenue West around 5PM.

He is described as a caucasian male, 21 years old, Five foot 10 inches.

He weighs 178 pounds, has blond hair and hazel eyes.

Update to original notification:

New information has been obtained that suggested Michael was last seen on October 22, at 5:30 PM running on Highway 16 near the turn off by the SPCA. 

Michael was wearing a blue t-shirt, grey sweat pants and black vans shoes. The disappearance is out of character, and the family and friends of Michael are hoping for a safe return. 

Currently ground search and rescue, the Terrace Police Dog Service, Prince Rupert RCMP float plane, West Coast Marine and the Coast Guard have been conducting an extensive search a long Highway 16.
