The future for communication services for Haida Gwaii has been the topic of conversation for CityWest this week as Sales Manager Norelle Lindstrom travelled to a number of communities on the islands this wekto share information on the CityWest plans with residents.
According to some social messaging from the Prince Rupert based communication company, Ms Lindstrom had stops scheduled in Tlell, Masset, Old Masset, Queen Charlotte and Skidegate during the course of her three day visit which wraps up today.
We made note of the expansion plans for the City of Prince Rupert owned company in September, with the prospect of improved service to Haida Gwaii one that was being received well by community leaders.
