CIHL makes a return to the ice with the Coy Cup the Pot of Gold at the end of the season long rainbow

The CIHL brings some welcome news for hockey starved fans of the Northwest and Cariboo regions as they launch the 2021-22 season in three locations.

The mid October start marking the launch of a four month journey towards the Coy Cup and Senior Hockey supremacy in the North.

For the Rampage the season is one of long homesteads and extended road trips with all of October at home, while the month of November finds the team on the road for all of its dates, included in those the marathon run into the Cariboo region.

A return home for a pre Christmas matchup will offer a chance for rest before the monster road stretch for 2022 with four games on the road through January before a trio of home games to wrap the season up.

The fourteen game regular features seven road trips and seven home stands between mid October and the start of February.

As the planning for the year ahead came to an end, we outlined some of themes for 2021-22 with some notes back in September
