Lester Centre heads into Fall with much to offer on the schedule and a call out for Volunteers

After a relatively quiet summer, the Fall season of entertainment is about to launch at the Lester Centre of the Arts and the northwest's showcase venue is sharing word on some of their packages to put us in a seat.

From their notes, they offer up two options to make sure you don't miss an event this year One way you can participate is by purchasing a membership to the Lester Centre Society.

As General Manager Chris Armstrong explains it:

You'll get the chance to set the future direction of the Lester Centre, and you'll receive the following benefits: A FREE Lester Centre t-shirt. (Did we mention it's free?)

First dibs on all shows that are non-Lester Centre presentations Your name in monthly draws for free prizes at local businesses Free coffee and tea at all events, when our concession is open A warm fuzzy feeling, knowing that you're supporting the performing arts in your community,
To purchase a membership for the low cost of $15, find out more about the offer here

The Lester Centre also has season passes for sale, which will give you access to 7 great shows for just $170 (or, under $25 per show). As an added bonus, if you buy a season pass, we'll throw in a membership, absolutely free! For more information on season passes, and what shows they include, more on the season pass option is available here.

The season starts later this month with Saltwater Hank and the T Buckley Trio in town on September 23rd,  the Showbills continuing through to May 25th and the popular Rockstock showcase of local talent.

A fly past (f you will) of the Lester Centre and what it has to offer is available for viewing here.

Of note for the year ahead, two highly regarded musical acts set for an appearance with the iconic Canadian group 54-40 and the pride of the Northwest, Award winning Alex Cuba from the Smithers area to take to the Lester Stage this fall and winter.

The Lester Centre is also looking for volunteers for their 2023-24 season, they are hosting a Volunteer event tonight at 7 PM to explain more on how you can become involved in the helping make sure that the Show goes on.

More notes on the season ahead can be followed through the Lester Centre Social media stream.
