Prince Rupert Arts Council accepting vendor applications for this year's Kaien Island Craft Fair

The mid-November tradition of the Prince Rupert Craft Fair will be a two day affair this year, as the Prince Rupert Arts Council finishes off its planning for this year's event.

The popular showcase of local artistic and crafting talent, offers up a wide range of intriguing gift possibilities, to go along with tasty treats, all of which annually attracts a large crowd to the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre.

This year the Craft Fair kicks off on Friday night with a three hour opportunity to check out what may be new for this year, while Saturday offers up eight hours of browsing for North Coast residents, timed as it is with voting day in this year's Municipal election.

Those that may wish to participate in the two day event can review the application from the Arts Council from this link

From that link you can also access further information on the Craft Fair with particular guidelines for those looking to seek a spot in the Russell Gamble Gymnasium over the two days of the event, with notice provided that participants must be on site for both the Friday and Saturday dates.

The Annual Kaien Island Craft Fair is the Arts Council's main fundraising event, which assists the not-for-profit organization to provide member assistant grants and scholarships every year.
