Prince Rupert Curling Club seeks out the curious for Saturday night

Another opportunity for those curious about Curling on the North Coast has arrived as the Prince Rupert Curling Club is hosting the New Beers Resolution Curling Night.

An evening of No Cost Curling made available, with equipment provided set for January 10th.

The night of action on the pebbled ice at the Seal Cove location offers  up a chance to learn more about the sport, get together with friends and enjoy the atmosphere off the ice in the Curling Club lounge.

The reference to Beers for Saturday night, is a nod to the evening's co-presenter the Wheelhouse Brewing Company which will have some of their local ales available for socializing in between on ice sessions.

It's the second Free Curling event of this curling season, following up on last fall's popular opportunity of October 2nd.

Those that might want to challenge their friends or co-workers can email the curling club to book a sheet of ice.

This weekend's event serves as the launch for the upcoming Bonspiel season, with the Rona Mixed Bonspiel scheduled for January 23rd, the Ladies Bonspiel February 27th and the Marine Bonspiel marked in for March 6th.

The Doors open to this weekend's New Beers Resolution Curling Night at 6 PM.
