The latest of earthquakes to rumble along the Pacific Coast fault lines struck at Tofino this evening, a 4.8 magnitude quake that was recorded by the USGS at 6:02 PM.
The epicentre for tonight's quake was located 18 kilometres east of Tofino at a dept of 24.6 kilometres.
No Tsunami watch, Warning or Advisory was generated by the seismic event.
