Charles Hays Band invites you to come paint some pottery

For those looking for a unique Christmas gift, the members of the Charles Hays Secondary Band have something that might put your artistic side to work.

They are offering up an opportunity for you to drop by the CHSS Art Studio on Thursday and Saturday and pick and pay for a pottery piece, put your own personal touch to it with some paint and then come back to pick it up before Christmas.

The Paint Your Own Pottery project is a fund raising effort hosted by the Art Shelf for the CHSS Band and the range of pottery pieces offers something for everyone from figurines, to Cups and Christmas ornaments to name a few of the items that will be put into the kiln after you've put your brush strokes to them.

The first session this Thursday is for Adults Only from 7 to 10 PM with prices ranging from 12 to 25 dollars.

The Second Session is set for Saturday from 1 until 4 and will feature pottery ornaments is for all ages with a special focus on the youngsters.

The Prices for the Saturday paint session range from 8 to 12 dollars.

Those planning on attending should park  in the lot by the track and walk towards the front of the school but stay on the main level to access the Art Studio.
