Prince Rupert's PAC 10 tutoring to host 10th anniversary celebration at year's end

PAC 10 tutoring is having a party! The popular tutoring service located
in the Longhouse building on 1st Ave West is hosting it's
10th Anniversary party on December 29th.

Considering the large number of students that have been found in a classroom over the years to take advantage of the services from PAC 10 tutoring, it should be quite the celebration on December 29th, when the popular tutoring service hosts its 10th Anniversary bash at the PAC 10 offices in the Longhouse on First Avenue West.

The service which heads into their tenth year in 2018 quickly found its place in the community, as parents looking to get a bit of extra assistance for their school age children quickly snared openings in the range of tutorial programs that PAC 10 began to offer.

As they grew their business Amy Dopson, Chrystopher Thompson and Phat Tran expanded the program to engage Prince Rupert's youngsters in more than just a review of school curriculum, or to get a bit of  extra help in some of the tougher subject challenges.

Their summer camps and other events through the year,  have combined education and fun activities to stimulate the minds of youngsters and have proven to be quite popular over the years,.

Some of their success can be measured in the stream of awards that PAC 10 has claimed both locally in the community and with wider exposure province wide for their service since their opening.

But the larger reward probably comes from watching their students grasp subjects that had frustrated them in the past, as well as to hear the thanks from parents for their work with their youngsters through the year.

In addition to providing for tutoring services in the community PAC 10 has also become an employer in the city, with many of their former students now providing the tutoring and mentoring for the newest students in the community.

As well, the educational service has given back to the School District and community through donations and bursaries for Charles Hays students.

To share in their success over the last decade and to look ahead to the next, PAC 10 has invited their alumni, current students and former students along with their families and friends to stop in for the celebration.

The event features a menu line up that taps some of the most interesting options to be found in the city and the evening is set to be brought to life with a range of games and stories culled from ten years of service to the community.

You can drop in to their offices at 110 1st Avenue West anytime after 5 PM on the 29th to check out the celebration.
