BC Liquor Stores once again throw their support behind Dry Grad 2019

Prince Rupert's BC Liquor Store is
among those in the province
helping out the Dry Grad program
As they have for many years now, Staff and management of the province's BC Liquor Store outlets are lending their help in support of the Dry Grad program across British Columbia.

Through the month of March, the BC Liquor Stores will be encouraging their customers to donate a dollar or more towards the community Dry Grad, which assists in organizing alcohol free graduation celebrations in BC communities.

“Every year we look forward to supporting alcohol-free graduation celebrations for students around the province, and every year our BC Liquor Stores customers blow us away with their generosity and support of this important campaign. The LDB’s dry grad campaign is one of our more significant initiatives and highlights our commitment to social responsibility and keeping alcohol out of the hands of minors.” -- Blain Lawson, general manager and CEO, Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB)

All of the donations go to the local School District and are distributed towards alcohol free graduation activities.

Last year the program provided for 275,000 dollars province wide towards the celebrations.
