Seawolves Spring Break includes hosting duties for Tier 4 Bantam Championships

While many people will hit the road this weekend to start off the two week spring break on the North Coast, the Prince Rupert SeaWolves will be setting up at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre as they play host to a collection of Bantam teams from across BC.

All of them here to celebrate the 100th year of BC Hockey and looking to bring home a Bantam banner along the way.

The Tier 4 Bantam Championships take place in Prince Rupert from March 16 to 21st with players, coaches, families and fans making their way to the city from four locations, Windermere Valley, Summerland, Fort St. John and Prince George.

The Seawolves head into the tournament as defending Tier 4 Champs, having won the 2017-18 title one year ago in Kitimat.

Local hockey fans can take in thirteen games starting with play on Sunday morning when the host SeaWolves drop the puck with Windermere. from the 1PM tournament opener the Civic Centre will be home away from home for the local players and their guests through until the Closing ceremonies of Wednesday afternoon.

Sunday, March 17

11 AM -- Opening Ceremonies
1:00 PM --  Prince Rupert 11  vs Windermere 2
4:00 PM -- Summerland 1 vs Prince George 3
7:15 PM -- Fort St, John 1  vs Prince Rupert 5

Monday, March 18

9:00 AM -- Windermere 4 vs Summerland 4
12 Noon -- Prince George 3 vs Fort St. John 4
4:00 PM -- Prince Rupert 3 vs Summerland 3
7:30 PM -- Fort St. John 4 vs Windermere 6

Tuesday, March 19

10:00 AM -- Windermere vs Prince George
4:00 PM -- Summerland vs Fort St. John
7:00 PM -- Prince George 1 vs Prince Rupert 4

Wednesday, March 20

10 AM -- Prince George 2 vs Fort St. John 6
1 PM -- Prince Rupert 1 vs Windermere 4
3:30 PM -- Closing Ceremonies
