4.7 magnitude temblor recorded overnight near Craig AK

A 4.7 quake was recorded off Craig AK overnight


An offshore quake along the Alaska panhandle was recorded overnight with a 4.7 temblor centred 114 kilometres west of Craig, shortly after 3AM

Moderate in nature, it for the most part went un-noticed as it rattled along the coast at 3:11 AM

No Tsunami danger was delivered by the seismic event, with Emergency Info BC making note of the situation shortly after the quake was observed.


The epicentre of the early Saturday event was located 314 kilometres northwest of Prince Rupert
