Don't look now, but for a limited time engagement ... A Bright Solar presence makes an appearance for sun starved North Coast Residents

It's probably a limited engagement what with our more normal Fall weather patterns not too far away, but after what has been among the wettest summers in memory for most residents, a week or more of SUNSHINE is here!

A high pressure system has set up in just the right location to deliver the week of sun, with temperatures just under the 20 degree mark, with lows averaging around 9 for the next seven days.

You can explore the full forecast here.

As we outlined last week, August was by far the wettest month of the entire summer, a three month period which rarely provided for an opportunity for much in the way of outdoor activities, let alone working on a summer tan.

Expect to see a lot of lawn work and outdoor projects underway around town through the week as Rupertites catch up on put off tasks or make ready for the what may lay ahead this fall.

For points eastward things will be even warmer, with Environment Canada issuing a Special Weather Statement for the Terrace, Kitimat, Stewart regions.
