SD52 modifies COVID protocols following recent provincial announcements

School District 52 is making a few subtle changes to their Communicable Disease Plan this week, following on the guidance from the Provincial Government and Public Health Officer Doctor Bonnie Henry.

In an information statement for Prince Rupert families from Friday, SD52 Superintendent Andrew Samoil outlined the change to the School District masks policy, as well as to relay notes on how the School District and Northern Health will deliver news of any outbreaks at local schools.

The School Notification page, as noted is available through the Northern Health website here.

To date only two schools have been added to that list, both of which are in the Bulkley Valley.
