Blog Watching: Week ending April 8, 2018

Previews seemed to be the preference for readers this week, with three peeks into upcoming events capturing attention over the last seven days.

Among our notes on the events of the week, our preview of the Community Musical Spamalot, a fund raiser at the Argosy by CHSS Drama students and an upcoming documentary presentation at the Lester Centre all attracted strong readership.

Other items to find their way into the top five for the week, included our notes on the much anticipated McKay Street Park Build Day which attracted volunteers to the site on Saturday, while a move in by Pembina Energy to downtown offices also was of some significant interest to readers.

In fact, the Pembina item made for the top story of the week as readers explored our outline of  the increased presence of Alberta energy giant in the community.

Pembina grabs some storefront space downtown -- While they still work out their plans for development of a liquid propane terminal for Watson Island, Pembina, the Alberta based Energy company has taken up residence in the city's downtown area, with the company moving into office space in the Capital Mall.
