As the winds were lashing Haida Gwaii and the North Coast overnight, transportation between Skidegate and Prince Rupert came to standstill over the last eight hours as BC Ferries Northern Expedition held in port at Skidegate.
Originally scheduled to depart the Islands at 10 PM last night, the vessel did not leave Skidegate until 6 AM today, it is expected to pull into the Fairview terminal at 11:30 this morning.
With that disruption to service, the schedule for BC Ferries Northern Service is now working under revised sailing times.
The Northern Expedition will have a three hour turn around in Prince Rupert, before it makes its southern run towards Klemtu, Bella Bella and Port Hardy with a 2:30 PM departure from Prince Rupert.
You can review the timetable for the next two days below:
Further updates, if required can be found from the BC Ferries website.
