Former Prince Rupert resident Jim Terrion has been heralded in his new home of Prince George for his work on behalf of the Terry Fox run, with Prince George TV station CKPG providing an update on his life in that city and his work each year on the Terry Fox Run.
The two minute feature, broadcast on New Years Eve, reviews some of Mr. Terrion's efforts in Prince Rupert, recounting some of his fond remembrances of his fundraising in the city.
Terrion of course is a local legend from his time of living in Prince Rupert and his work on the Terry Fox Run, a tradition which he continues each September as he returns to the City to renew his contact with the community and continue his work on behalf of the Foundation.
His non stop dedication to the Terry Fox run through the years have been acknowledged not only locally, but beyond, most recently his work was acknowledged by North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice at the BC legislature.

He has another task ahead of him in this New Year, chosen to be one of the Torch Bearers for the upcoming Canada Winter Games in Prince George.
