Okanagan rattled by 4.2 temblor near Penticton

A moderate earthquake rumbled through the Okanagan this morning, with the USGS recording a 4.2 magnitude quake straddling the border with the USA at 9:36 AM.

The quake was centred 42.2 km SE of Penticton close to the Osoyoos-Oliver area, it was listed as having had a depth of 5.0 km

No damage or injuries have been reported from the Saturday morning seismic event.
