Smithers RCMP seek public assistance on missing youth file

Update: Ms. Perreault has been located safe and sound.

The Smithers detachment of the RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public across the Northwest as they investigate a missing persons file from the community.

Shaylee Perreault was reported missing on Tuesday, September 20th and has not bee seen or heard from since that time, she was last seen in the afternoon of Monday, September 19th.

In a notice to the public issued today, the RCMP noted that both police and family are concerned for her health and well-being.

The fourteen year old female is Five feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has blonde shoulder length hair.
