This weekend the ghoulishly good times of the Halloween period will be found down at the end of Skeena Drive in Port Edward, where once again this the North Pacific Cannery Historical Site presents it's popular Haunted House theme.

The fourth annual haunting will take place this Sunday from Noon to 3 PM, with the Halloween event featuring spooky games suitable for kids and families as well as a free sweet filled treat bag for the young visitors.

Last years event brought over 500 visitors to the event, offering up one final chance to explore the North Pacific Cannery site before the winter shutdown..

In addition to the Halloween games and treats, the Chamber of Chills will once again be a featured attraction of the three hour event, the narrated walk through some of the cannery's most storied buildings  is set to a tale, recited by Prince Rupert's orator of horror Michael Gurney, as the themes can be somewhat scary at times, the walk through is recommended for those of age 8 and up.
