Showcase of Rupert youth set for Saturday, as Prince Rupert's Got Talent takes to the stage

No time for stage fright ... Twelve Rupertites take to the Lester Centre on
Saturday night for this years edition of Prince Rupert's Got Talent

An opportunity to showcase some of the newest talent in the city and a quest for prize money come together on Saturday night as the Lester Centre stage plays host to this years edition of Prince Rupert's Got Talent.

The popular evening of entertainment brings a range of music, singing and dance together as contestants who survived the audition process of last month put their final performance plan together for the one night showcase.

Twelve participants will present their best on Saturday with three judges set to make their observations on the night's parade of talent. Those taking to the stage on Saturday are in the hunt for $1,000, part of the incentive that brings many to the auditions of September.

The event which is a fundraising activity for the Lester Centre has launched more than a few of Prince Rupert's youth on to larger projects in the years that follow, providing as it does the chance for the community to take in some of the presentations of the talented artists that the region continues to spawn.

Show time at the Lester Centre is at 7PM, tickets are available for ten dollars each at either the Lester Centre or Cooks Jewellers.

You can find more information on the event from the Facebook page created for the event.
