Sharpen the blades, Sunday brings your chance to skate with the Rampage

The day won't feature the high tempo end to end rushes of a Rampage game, but rather a more leisurely pace on the ice as the Prince Rupert Rampage host their annual Skate with the Rampage event on Sunday afternoon from 4 to 5:15 PM at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre Arena.

The highly popular event offers the chance for young and old alike to go stride for stride with some of the members of the CIHL team, and maybe if all the scheduling works out even a chance to take a tour around the rink with Santa.

Admission for the Skate is by donation to the Salvation Army and if you don't have skates, the Rampage and the Recreation Centre have you covered with Free Skate rentals available.

There will be a chance to meet the players, get an autograph, take in some refreshments and much more.

The Christmas season skate will come the day after the Rampage get back into the action of the CIHL season after a two week break, as they look to get back onto the winning track taking on the Kitimat Ice Demons with a Saturday night puck drop of 7PM.
