Cow Bay the potential next Destination for a Cannabis Retail Location

23 Cow Bay Road is listed as the next potential
location for Cannabis retailer in Prince Rupert

The City of Prince Rupert has posted some details towards a proposed retail cannabis location for the Cow Bay area of the city, with a notice dated October 14th making note of the proponent FCC Enterprises listing 23 Cow Bay Road as their location for their enterprise.

FCC is also known as Five Corner Cannabis and they currently host a retail location on Park Avenue.

As part of the City's process of review, they are currently seeking the comments and opinion from residents of the City related to the application in question.

Those wishing to make a contribution can direct their comments to Rosa Maria Miller, Corporate Administrator for the City of Prince Rupert. 424 3rd Avenue West, Prince Rupert V8J 1L7.

You can also email your comments to Ms. Miller at rosamaria.miller@princerupert.ca

There is no deadline listed in the City's advisory from the City of Prince Rupert website, but it would seem safe to assume that the sooner the comments are delivered, the better chance you have of putting them on the record before the window for submissions closes.

23 Cow Bay Road is listed by BC Assessment as the location for Cowpuccino's, which also has retail space in the area below the popular coffee shop.

The City has offered up no timeline as of yet, as to how the application process will move forward.

If successful, it will make for the third commercial cannabis location in the city, though the Cow Bay notes do not indicate if it will be an additional location to the Park Avenue store.
