Black Press has announced a new VP for their BC North division to work with three NW papers |
A farewell note in the Alberta newspaper the Red Deer Advocate heralds a bit of change ahead for Northwest British Columbia; with Black Press set to welcome a new Vice President for the press giant and its BC Northwest newspapers.
Mary Kemmis, a former resident of the Smithers area will be returning to the Northwest tasked with duties that will bring a "direct focus on all aspects of the Terrace, Prince Rupert and Kitimat papers' as well, her work will include revenue development for the BC North division.
Ms. Kemiss, who most recently was the publisher of the Red Deer Advocate and President of the Prairie Division of Black Press Media will be based out of Terrace.
