Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue ready to share Safety messages during Fire Safety Week

Fire Prevention Week is underway for the members
of the Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department and those 
firefighters in Port Edward and surrounding communities

Fire Safety Week got underway on Sunday, with the next seven days designed to offer helpful advice on how to make your home, office or business as safe as possible and to remove any potential hazards that may put you in danger.

The Prince Rupert Fire/Rescue Department is using their Social Media page to highlight the Fire Safety Awareness program, with plans to provide further notes for the public through the week.

You can follow their travels through the week, attending local information events and providing for more safety themes here


A wide range of material for the family and educators or community groups is also available from the National Fire Prevention Association which hosts a website that offers up number of items, videos and other presentations to bring home the message of Fire Safety.

Fire Safety Week will continue until October 9th and you can expect to see the members of the Prince Rupert and Port Edward departments involved around the community to share themes of Fire Safety
