Another pacific storm is tracking to the North Coast (image from Environment Canada) |
Some strong winds are on the way for the North Coast, Haida Gwaii and Prince Rupert area later this evening as a vigorous pacific front comes ashore bringing with it potential gusts of 110km/hr overnight.
The details of the WIND WARNING issued Monday morning were delivered through the Environment Canada website.

The front brings in what will be at least a week of rain for the region, with the potential of 100 mm of precipitation before Friday.
As we noted yesterday, the oncoming storm scuppered plans for the Monday BC Ferry sailing from Prince Rupert and return from Skidegate of Tuesday.
That cancellation came as a STORM WARNING goes into effect for Hecate. Strait.
