A three year contract to deliver the growing volume of online purchases is up for bid in Prince Rupert, with Canada Post seeking the services of a contractor for its local service.
The Service requirements include the service of a minimum of four vehicles during non-peak periods.
The Parcel Deliver and related Services will include pick-up and delivery of mail and related activities and requires the Contractor to provide the necessary drivers and cargo vans.
The Three year contract could bring an option of an additional two years for the successful applicant to the Canada Post Request for Proposal.
